>We’ve become accustomed to presidents ruling by decree. Of course congress is too far gone to do anything beyond the will of the oligarchy, which is why these orders feel justified. They are great when we like the result, but they normalize dictatorship. The next president’s attitudes my not reflect our values in the same way, but will have the same powers.
